L@TL 2011 hits £5,111.35!

A fantastic amount raised this year with a great final spur of donations taking our total above £5,000!

L@TL 2011 Total: £4949.35

This year we raised the huge amount of £4949.35!

It’s so tantalisingly close to £5,000 I’m sure we can break that. All the money raised goes to the NSPCC, helping children across the UK. A brilliant cause and one we have supported for seven years, raising a grand total of over £29,000!

A fantastic effort from all involved from across the north. Awesome routines from Leeds Uni Swing Soc, Kingston Swing, Sheffield and of course our very own Lindy Fridays dancers. If you missed it be sure to get involved with LATL 2012, particularly if you’re new!

Once again a massive thank you to everyone who took part and donated!

Lindy @ the Light 2011 – A fanastic day!

A big thank you to everyone involved in Lindy @ the Light yesterday! It was a fantastic day raising £1634.55 in buckets, we’ll be announcing an anticipated grand total soon.

Please send us any photos and videos you took on the day so we can upload them onto this website. Then you can show them to your family, friends and anyone who sponsored you or use them to get more donations!

Lindy at the Light will now be taking place on Saturday 17th December.

We are very sorry to change the dates, unfortunately it cannot be avoided. I hope you all join in and use this extra week to practice hard and get more donations for the NSPCC this Christmas.

Saturday, 17th December 2011 @The Light, Leeds

A team of enthusiastic Lindy hop dancers will be performing all afternoon in “The Light“, Leeds, on Saturday, 17th December 2011 to raise money for the NSPCC.

With your help we’ve raised over £24,000 for the NSPCC since 2005. Please help us do even more again this Xmas.

Lindy @ the Light 2010 raised ££7,532.08

This years event was our most successful yet, with the highest audience footfall on the day and a whopping £7,532.08 raised for the NSPCC.

Thanks to all of of you fantastic fundraisers and to all you who came to join-in on the day, whether you were performing, volunteering, or even just watching and donating. We just couldn’t do it without you.
